Weed suppression and pond lining re-done.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

After a nice lie in, catching up on some Euros matches I\u2019d missed, I finally got around to redoing the weed-suppressing and pond-lining. Including underneath the little bridge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hard to make out in the bright sunlight.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m glad I enlarged the two main pond areas, and made them both – and the connecting channel – deeper. Hopefully when I join the two parts of pond lining, I can create a watertight seal. And this time the pond won\u2019t simply drain away. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the joint that needs sealing.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m thinking I\u2019ll use some kind of waterproof mastic sealant. I\u2019ll join the two halves, and then – belt n\u2019 braces, and all that – add a strip, band-aid plaster style, along the length of the join.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But it\u2019s off to Wisbech Mozzers, now. A-delivering for to go. Bought this, for liquid refreshment:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve arrived rather too early, as is my wont. Better early than late! But that can lead to extraneous expenditure. Right now, for example, I\u2019m very<\/em> tempted to have a mac\u2019n\u2019cheese lunch, at the Morrisons caf\u00e9.
