Teresa accompanied me to work today. After my first\/midday shift, I\u2019d planned on lunch at Elsie\u2019s. But she was shut, alas. So instead we had lunch at Yarwell, at a little caf\u00e9 in a marina there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We ended up having baked potatoes, with baked beans n\u2019 cheese. And a little side-salad. Much the same as we\u2019d have had at Elsie\u2019s, to be honest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mind, they do everything that bit better at Elsie\u2019s. and there are no mindbending knickerbocker glories to be had at Yarwell, either. Still, it was very<\/em> pleasant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, as is quite often the way, when one door shuts, another opens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later in the day, during another (second\/later) shift – Teresa stayed home this time – I was directed through this pretty little ford, in Alconbury:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also passed numerous churches I\u2019d like to have explored. But I did\u2019nae have the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
