Here\u2019s a wee listicle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Things I\u2019d like, either for Yule or my Birthday. The stuff I want most<\/em> is up at the top<\/em>. The stuff at the bottom I\u2019d like, but not as keenly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If anyone were to use this list to get me anything, it\u2019d prob\u2019 be wise to confer with other folk, first. So nobody accidentally duplicates stuff (it\u2019s happened before!).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And maybe let me know, so I can cross it off? \u2026 Or not? Surprises can be nice!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looks a bit dull for the top of my list. I know! But it\u2019d be very useful, for framing\/mounting pictures. Roughly \u00a335-40 (on Amazon), at the time of posting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is something I\u2019m very keen to get\/read. I have volumes one and two of this ace naval history. Volume three came out very recently. Cheapest place (I\u2019ve seen) is, surprise, surprise, on Amazon UK<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019d love one of these T-shirts<\/a>. I\u2019m a bit of a Furze fan-boy. Mostly on account of his whole underground tunnel stuff. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The above is an enamel plate, which can be bought online, here<\/a>. I\u2019m thinking of calling our art studio \u2018The Owl & The Pussycat\u2019, because it\u2019s a beautiful pea-green! And I love Edward Lear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I liked this guy\u2019s book on Denis Pack.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The above might be interesting? I\u2019ve read another book by the author. And it was very good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Be careful with the above. We already have the feature length animated movie<\/em>, by Cosgrove Hall (the same team). What I\u2019m after, and is pictured above, is the complete TV series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s currently approx\/just under \u00a350 on Amazon<\/a>, and more or less exactly the same (both w free postage) on HMV<\/a>. It\u2019s a few pennies cheaper on Amazon, and delivered next day. HMV fractionally more, price wise, and 7-9 days delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HARDER TO FIND\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Down here at the bottom is stuff I really really<\/em> want, but isn\u2019t all that easy to get hold of. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They recently had this HMS Victory model in a shop in Peterborough, for \u00a325. But it\u2019s gorn\u2026 So I s\u2019pose this one might be a bit too much of a hassle for now?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019d love this classic 1980s English Civil War drama, pictured below, on DVD. But it is a bit hard to find\/dear:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sadly Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roll Juvenile<\/em>, which contains the classic \u2018We Don\u2019t Talk Any More\u2019, seems quite hard (and costly!) to get hold of, on CD. I\u2019d prefer the 40th Anniversary reissue as well\u2026 So prob\u2019 best save this one for when it becomes easier\/cheaper to buy, I guess. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
