And whilst I\u2019ve  long been a fan of Bruce Springsteen, it\u2019s only now that I\u2019m listening to this album, for the very first time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"612\" height=\"886\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sebpalmer.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/img_2665-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25851\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.sebpalmer.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/img_2665-1.jpg 612w, http:\/\/www.sebpalmer.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/img_2665-1-207x300.jpg 207w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 612px) 100vw, 612px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Love this pic!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ve read that a 22 year old Bruce did a two hour solo audition for John Hammond, in the latter\u2019s offices. Hammond was so impressed he set up a gig, to showcase Bruce to a whole crowd of industry execs, the same day!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"686\" height=\"386\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sebpalmer.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/img_2663-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25852\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.sebpalmer.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/img_2663-1.jpg 686w, http:\/\/www.sebpalmer.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/img_2663-1-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 686px) 100vw, 686px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Another fab\u2019 pic.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a great album. And pretty stunning for a new young artists\u2019 debut. His trademark intensity is there from the outset.
