Companion to a recent British Museum exhibition, that I tragically missed. It\u2019s truly astonishing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"685\" mean even just in their book form (doubtless much better still \u2018in the flesh\u2019), that their impact can really be felt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images
