And, to my surprise, a pal said it gave him \u2018mallet envy\u2019; could I make him one? For just \u00a340! It arrived today. And I used it to shape the handles, as shown in the pics above and below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Burn marks need sanding out. But other than that, it did exactly what I wanted. Result! One minor bummer is that a set of new router bits I recently bought don\u2019t fit.
