But we never really watched them. Having the physical DVDs &#8211; I guess we\u2019re old school that way? &#8211; means we\u2019re much more likely to actually watch them (they\u2019re <em>not<\/em> included on Amazon Prime).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"530\" height=\"350\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sebpalmer.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/img_4131.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4715\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.sebpalmer.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/img_4131.jpg 530w, http:\/\/www.sebpalmer.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/img_4131-300x198.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 530px) 100vw, 530px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Dig that carved in stone \u2018font\u2019!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s Xmas day, and, having watched a Basil Rathbone Sherlock movie earlier (The Pooch o\u2019 the Baskervilles), part of another DVD set I got for Teresa, we\u2019re now watching <em>She<\/em>, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shot in Israel and starring Arsula Undress, this is, it seems, where Rumpole got his \u2018she who must be obeyed\u2019 line from. Well I never! And you get  of only Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, and the many faceted charms of Ursula, but also Wombles narrator Bernard Cribbin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Too much! An embarrassment of riches. Some of the sets or are they \u2018mattes\u2019?) are great, as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"600\" height=\"480\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sebpalmer.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/img_4130.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4716\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.sebpalmer.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/img_4130.jpg 600w, http:\/\/www.sebpalmer.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/img_4130-300x240.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Fab scenes! Colonial clobber meets Romans and\u2026 well, all sorts. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Can\u2019t be arsed to synopsise the ludicrous story. It\u2019s just an excuse for exotic locations, good old fashioned Boys\u2019 Own style adventure, with nutty costumes and plenty of feminine allure, all in a distinctly old school non-PC way.
