How any drummer can make such a simple part so difficult to emulate is astonishing. It\u2019s all in the feel. Truly awesome. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sebpalmer.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/img_4702.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4961\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.sebpalmer.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/img_4702.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.sebpalmer.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/img_4702-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/www.sebpalmer.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/img_4702-100x100.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">CAN\u2019s fourth album, a complete <em>meisterwerk<\/em>!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Holger Czukay shows that less really CAN be more, and Michael Karoli supplies one of his best rhythm guitar parts; melodic, funky, and fairly unique in the CAN canon. Irvin Schmidt\u2019s keys pepper the piece with perfect piquancy, and there\u2019s a solo &#8211; a <em>music concrete<\/em> solo, no less &#8211; that is an absolute masterpiece. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And this track got them on ze German hit parade! Crazy times, eh!? Can you imagine this charting anywhere in the world now?
