Or, rather, it\u2019s what I wanted to believe. And, in all honesty, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newscientist.com\/article\/2343910-your-cat-really-does-prefer-your-voice-to-that-of-a-stranger\/\">this study<\/a> seems so small as to be of questionable scientific merit. But it\u2019s in line with my confirmation bias, so I\u2019m running with it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyway, I doubt anything would stop Teresa and I chatting in our baby-ish ways with our cats. We did it with Tigger, now we\u2019re doing it with Chester. It\u2019s natural! We love it.
