Watch out… Beadle’s About!
Should anyone ask you, what have Jeremy Beadle and Capt Beefheart & His Magic Band have in common – highly unlikely, admittedly – the answer is, The Bickershaw Festival, of 5-7 May, 1972.
The above archival piece, by the BBC, sadly only captures the organisers, punters, and locals. Not, alas, the artists/performers. It’s very interesting. And rather sad.
